NOW HIRING: FARM CHEF

Are you passionate about crafting dishes and cooking food from sustainable farm sources? Do you love utilizing fresh, healthy produce?

We are seeking a hardworking, dedicated individual to join our team as Farm Chef! The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a desire to work with fresh produce and local ingredients.

We consistently cultivate over 100 crops in rotation, and as Farm Chef, you will get to work with all of them while sourcing other sustainable island ingredients. We offer our guests a true farm-to-table dining experience when they join us on our morning Coffee Tour or mid-day Farm Tour. As Farm Chef, you will work with members of our culinary team to create unique, vibrant dishes that showcase the flavors of Maui.

Responsibilities:
-Help make value-added products using farm ingredients.
-Proper culinary attire, appearance, and hygiene.
-Coordinate, communicate, and assist in the execution of service with service staff.
-Maintain and improve the culinary experience at O'o Farm.
-Rigorously follow the cleaning schedule for the kitchen environment.

Requirements:
-Proven culinary experience with food preparation and knife skills.
-Ability to follow instructions and adhere to menu requirements.
-Strong problem-solving skills.
-Excellent physical stamina. Job requires lifting, bending, standing, cleaning, walking.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Punctual, professional, and reliable.

Details:
-Monday-Friday
-7 am-3:30 pm or 5 am-1:30 pm
-Hourly pay plus tips.
-O’o Farm does not provide accommodation, transportation, or work trade. Must have own vehicle or reliable transportation to and from work.
